Not 5 minutes after I posted the pics of Reece and how big she was, she turned, collapsed and despite my best attempts at reviving her she died, apparently from a massive heart attack due to the stress of the PG. Quickly though, I was able to get all 10, yes 10 pups out. Unfortunately, I was unable to keep up with all there is to do with 10 puppies to get them breathing. Within a few minutes 7/10 were taking breaths and I was working hard on getting the others to come around when 2 truely awesome people came to assist, Kathy Hood and Eva Dickey. I owe the two of the alot as without them I do not know where we would stand right now. THANKS GUYS!!!!! The other 3 just never came around. We still have 6/10 doing very well 4 girls and 2 boys. They seem to be doing very, very well to this point. 1 nice little boy just never did pink up well and passed this evening.
Here is a small tribute to their wonderful mother who I will miss more than I probably realize now. Sorry for such a sad report, but it is still very bittersweet.
Championship pic!

I'm so sorry about Reece...
I lost a bitch and pupppies at that same time frame...you are lucky to have saved some of them...I am so sorry though that you lost your friend, Reece. May she rest in peace over the rainbow bridge with the pups that weren't saved.
Take good care of yourself.
Lorraine
