What can someone say about a true friend and buddy that has been by one's side almost 24/7 for the last two and half years? So many great memories and thoughts about the time you've spent together rush through your mind and they just make you smile.
It was a great ride, my BUD, and I am at a loss for words about how I feel now that you're retiring and going home to your mother tomorrow. Without question, I'll miss you and I hope you enjoy the rest of your days as you should after such an outstanding show career that ends at the ripe age of 5 1/2 years old.

That's a wise decision, I mean after all look what he has accomplished, Let him retire in style. It's a very emotional decision indeed.. That was neat to see your first post about him when he first came into your life. His breeders, owners & handler should be so proud of themselves. Thanks for taking time out of your hectic schedule to post pics and his brags when you could. I hope to see his kids in the ring or read about them.

Retirement is grand, Tate!
Not that I'm close to doing that myself (lol). I'm sure you have mixed feelings Jay....to lose your buddy who has travelled far and wide with you and yet knowing his retirement will be made up of lazy, loving days! There will only be one Tate but I hope you have many more wonderful experiences with any new apprentice.

such wonderful memories of Tate, I don't think I could give him back to his mama LOL I can only hope Storm can accomplish half of what tate did in his show career, Storm has the same father as Tate and is doing wonderfully in the show ring
