I have bought some more prizes myself for the contest, as I said when it started if we reached a certain number a major sponsor may add some more really nice prizes, this is not what i was talking about, that deal is still on the table, but we have to reach a certain number of paid entries by a certain date or they wont consider it. However, I have found some absolutely drop beautiful 1 foot long stuffed plush bulldog animals. I'm not big on stuffed animals myself but i feel in love with these!!!!

digital camera has arrived!! Now I have to figure out how to use it After that I have to finally figure out how to post on the board Can't wait to post my pics Hope it doesn't take as long as it took me to figure out these darn smileys!

Today I took Ruby to the vet. Well, it is about a 20 minute drive and she was sitting in the cab of the truck with me on the passenger's seat. She was panting and had her head propped barely against the side of my leg. I looked at her to see if she was drooling and I noticed a few drips, but it wasn't too bad (or so I thought) so I didn't worry much about it.

As of this morning, her temperature is down to normal, she seems to be more alert and active and feeling better, and we are to pick her up after work. So, barring any set backs today, Fluff will be home and sleeping in bed again. Of course she will still be on meds, and we are awaiting results of the culture to see if there is anything different we need to do.

I will post a picture and update tonight of Miss Fluffser back at home. You all helped pull her thru.

does anyone know of a good, comprehensive link to information on overheating. i was looking for the reasons it happens, symptoms, and what to do in case. i wanted to print it out for our dog walker.
