General Bulldog Forum

Does anyone know of a bulldog rescue group in the Largo Florida area? We live in Largo which is north of Tampa and next to Clearwater and St. Pete. I've looked online but all I kind find is mixed breed rescues. Really nice dogs but they're not a beautiful bully. I know no dog will ever replace our Porkchop but we have so much love to give to another bully. Thank you for any direction or help you can offer.

We had to put down our beautiful Porkie this past Tuesday. We were blessed to have her with us for 13 years. Our hearts are broken but opened to love and care for another. We have decided to adopt and are looking for direction as to how to proceed. Due to new size restriction from the homeowner association we would like to adopt a Frenchie. We had purchased all 3 of our past bulldogs from breeders but I'm sure there is a Frenchie looking for a home. Since we never adopted before I'm hoping you can give us direction as to how to start. Thank you so much.

I just saw. I am so sorry. You and your family are in my prayers. Jasmine is such a Beautiful Baby she will be Truly misses but can never be forgotten. Seems like yesterday when I first meet you both but now it's been years. She has the best life there was for her and how she love her Mommy. She is so Beautiful but still it hard and 11 years seems like one. I am so sorry will be thinking of the both of you. Your in my heart and prayers. (((Hugs))). She will be watching her Mommy.

Just checking in as I have not posted or read  posts for so long. You will remember my Mr, Higgins who passed 2 1/2 years ago.He was 10 1/2 and it was a tumor attached to his heart, not previously diagnosed  I do not have a bully but am quite active in bulldog facebook groups. I received so much support from you all especially since he had 7 surgeries total.

I need to send my Bulldog from Houston to Colombia. She's 6 years old and in good health. Do any of you have had experiences with a pet transportation service? United airlines don't accept adult Bulldogs.
