Thoughts on getting another dog...

Hi,

I was hoping for some input from current bully owners. I currently own a male, 5 year old English Bulldog and am looking into adding a Pug into our family. I was leaning towards another boy, but I keep on reading how it's better (safer) to NOT have two males in the same house? Any truth to this?

My bulldog never had any negative experiences or interactions with other dogs.

Thanks in advance,

Hey-Oh!!

Hi everyone!

We (Winston and I) have been MIA for a while.  Just wanted to check in and say "Hey" to everyone. I've been thinking about all of you!! Since our last check-in Winston has become the foster brother extrodinare!!  AND, big news, we've helped launch a rescue close to us.

Winston and his dude have been up to their usual shenanigans. Like the Drake Beautiful Bulldog Relays last year (tv screen grab, sorry for the questionable quality):

Cherry eye troubles

Our Roxy's cherry eye surgery is going on three months now and her eye still looks like when we first saw her after surgery.  The vet keeps telling me it takes several months for it to heal. It will be three months soon and no change. I don't know where else to turn.  I haven't been able to find any before and after pictures on the web or any articles that state the exact time frame for healing. I would greatly appreciate any info

thanks in advance
