Dear friends,

April the 18th I had to put my beloved girl to sleep. 

It was the hardest thing I've ever done, it was also the kindest.

There is no way I could ever replace my sweet baby. She'll always reside in my heart.

I am going to find me another bulldog to love, and to love me.

I would much appreciate any thoughts about the difference between males and females.

Greetings, all! The Warden and I haven't been corresponding here for a while due to life changes and spinning circles in other directions, but I wanted to drop in and maybe re-establish ourselves. I was even thinking about taking a quick survey and see if there was enough interest to re-establish my old, popular-at-the-time Friday Night Surveys from what used to be years ago. I only discontinued it because interest and participation was lax. So, discuss among yourselves, please post your responses and we'll go on from there.

It's getting warmer out and I am wondering about overheating. What is too hot? I was thinking 75 and higher, but am not sure what the threshold is. Today it is 81 and varies between sunny and partly cloudy. We have the windows open, but should we have the AC on? What about walks? Also, we plan to take our bully to the cabin before it gets too hot. There is no AC at the cabin. What would be too hot at that point? We were planning on wetting her and providing a lot of water during the trip and keeping her in the shade. We also were planning on letting her splash in the shallow water.

Help anyone! I feel so bad my dog Lou is scratching ly. He was on Zyrtec did anyone try the oral medication that you put a few drops in his drinking water. I changed my Vet, he placed Lou on a new diet Royal canine Hydrolyzed protein diet. He is 16 months old. The New vet put him on Hydroxyzine 50 mg 2 X per day. My wish is to get them off all medicines.

Hi, I want to purchase a bed for my English Bulldog, but am unsure what size to buy. She is a 5 month old female 30lbs currently. I want one that will last and that she can grow to her maximum size, but still fit comfortably. She likes to sprawl out when she sleeps either on her side or back. She also likes to lay her head on something so I am thinking of getting one with a bolster. Any recommendations?
