as some of you know, we lost our best buddy, hoosier not long ago to cancer. louie came to live with my sister and her family. tillie and i got to meet the little fella this weekend. i think it's a GO!!

his liver function is perfect so we're gonna continue the Rymadil and re-check his liver function in 2 months.

I recently got an English Bulldog to add to my family. It's something we discussed at length. We wanted to rescue and we let family know we were looking. Well, a dog was located and we were told he was raised with family and around other dogs and that he was very calm. Which he was. And then he started attacking my boxer mix. It doesn't seem to be about anything. Food toys etc. He will just be laying there and his ears go up and his body tenses and he attacks. My boxer is very timid and submissive and is now afraid.

We haven't posted in a while as life has just gotten away with us due to the wedding planning/crazy work/quality time with the Rugman ;-)

Rugs was neutered three-weeks ago and was completely back to normal a few days later, albeit a tad stir-crazy as he wasn't allowed to wrestle with his Dad... but he has adjusted well and doesn't seem to miss anything ;-)

My bully chews through every bed that I've bought for him. Any suggestions for a chew/tear proof bed? :) if any of course lol

I just posted this on another bulldog forum, but wanted to share with you all.

I had a patient in yesterday and we were talking about dogs. We discussed puppies and how challenging they can be, as well as rewarding. He then said, "The beginning is hard, the end is hard, but the middle is magical!" This brought tears to my eyes.......just wanted to share a lovely thought!

w/my fellow bulldog family....here is my alien baby,lol @ 13 weeks 2 days

my 2nd ultrasound is on feb.15 on which by then i will be 5 months

and 4 days-it is actually going very fast!ofcourse as a new mom to 

be i'm going through the motions but for right now i'm trying to take

in this new experience one day at a time!

for sure the baby will need a companion and i figure a bugaboo(bully)

is just what's required!,lol,
