Hi... Since Kibby passed.. I have been looking at getting another bully! I keep looking at other dogs, but keep coming back to the bullys of course...
I have found a rescue that is mostly or will be blind soon.. the foster mom tells me that it will just take a couple of weeks of adjustment and then that I wont really even notice anymore.
Does anyone have any experience with blind bullys?
have it great!
We're having an issue with our boy's licking... As dog lovers, we are well aware and prepared for typical, loving displays of affection from our drooly boy 9 month old English bulldog Earl. That being said, he has taken things to another level. His licking has become nothing short of obsessive. It started a few months ago with licking our skin after putting lotoin on after a shower, & has now spread to licking legs at the dinner table, a spot on the floor/carpet/rug/furniture that may or may not have something on it, sometimes the wall and hardware on closet doors.
Hello! My work computer uses the windows 7 os and I don't see the insert photo option here when I'm using this operating system (at home I have Windows Vista and I do have the insert photo option.)Can anyone who has Windows 7 advise me on how to insert pix on this forum?
Thanks!
Well my wife and I made the gut wrenching call to put Lola up for adoption. I realize its not going to be easy to find a home for her after a documenated bit of a child but Lola has a lot of life left and would be a wonderful addition to the right family. I am working with River City Bulldog rescue but their foster homes are full so she has to stay with me untill a spot opens up..
welcome to another one!! have it good!
Ok, so lets get one thing straight from the beginning...
I'd do just about anything for my 6 year old male bully, Mason Dixon.
HOWEVER.....i wont give up sleeping with my Husband at night and that is where we are. Every night, Mason comes to my side of the bed between 2-5 am, whining for me to get up (wake up) and feed him.
I made the mistake of doing it a few times and now he is outta control!!
Hes been on a homeade diet for 2 years due to heavy allergies.
He gets 3 meals a day, 2 cups per meal.
Here's one of 8 panels . I'm so excited to see this when I get it all put together. I'm donating this to a Bulldog rescue group for their auction in a couple of weeks.
The finshed project will be a tuffet, like this.
It's the most important holiday on the Jewish Calendar, one of several called the High Holy Days. Last week was the Jewish New Year (based on a lunar calendar) and tonight until tommow at sunset is the Day of Atonement, where we fast from all food and water, confess our sins as a community (which means that as individuals we may ask for forgivness for something that we didn't do personally but a Jew somewhere may have done, ) and pray in the synagogue. I wont be posting until it's over.
Be diligent about where you buy your pet treats.
