it's still cold here, 12 degrees today - warmer than the 5 of yesterday. Zimmer found the ray of sunshine to warm himself up.

Drum roll please! The winner of the Merrick Dog Food for a year contest is Lori W. She’s mom to two poodles… and another puppy on the way. She’ll need all the help she can get and by feeding her dogs Merrick, they’ll have a healthy 2014!

She’s won a year’s supply of Merrick dog food, as well as a consult with a member of Merrick’s pet parent relations team who will work with her to choose the right recipe. Lori has promised to send us pictures of her dogs om nom noming on their prize and we can’t wait to see them.

Or....pouring in the house...due to the "0" degree weather in the south (which we are not used too)... we had a pipe break in the wall and flooded two rooms before we could get the water turned off...Olive loves water so she had a blast :-/ Plumber coming out today and hopefully we can have our water back on. My husband is also suffering from a Kidney stone and spent 6 hours in the Emergency Room. Lovely beginning to the new year but looking back it could be worse. Happy Birthday Cathy and prayers to all that need them...
and for some comic relief......

I have a 4 1/2 month old male olde English bulldog. He seems to have a sensitive stomach. From day one he has had loose stools and very frequent, like anywhere from 5-7 times a day. I only feed him 1 1/4 cup in am and 1 1/4 cup in pm and about 1/4 cup in the afternoon. My vet had put him on royal canin gi high energy for his stomach but didn't really help she also did a round of probiotic which maybe helped firm them up some but not the frequency , so at pet smart they recommended natural balance synergy. that has helped firm them up but not the frequency. any suggestions.
