My sincerest thank you to all of you who responded to my post.! Porkie is still with us. She has started eating again and initiating play with her favorite toy. Granted the play time lasts only for a few minutes but she brings the toy over to us. I am watching her very carefully. I will not allow her to suffer but for the moment she doesn't appear to be ready to leave us.
Again, thank you for your compassion, suggestions, sharing your experiences.
Girl, hope you are hanging in there. I feel the need for a big ol' jug o joe this morning! Not a groove in my step here lately, gotta shape up and get going again. Wanna join me!!!??? Hugs to you and yours! Have a good one:-)
I always wondered why, and hoped she felt safe and secure.
No doubt about this little guy. Warms my heart!
Our beautiful little girl was diagnosed with a deterioration of her spine 2 years ago. It had effected her hind legs. It has now gotten to the point that she can barely walk and has difficulty getting up from a laying position. She's been on increasing doses of Tramadol (narcotic pain med), prednisone, and Gabapentin (used for nerve pain). She no longer wants to play or interact over the past week or so. Her appetite remains wonderful. We are discussing putting her down because, other than eating, her quality of life seems to be very poor.
Hello everybody,
We're new to the world of English bulldog owning.
Edna is 18 months old and came to us via a rescue. she was used to breed off but didn't take to her pups . we we're told she came into season in August but seems she's just come in again. ( she's our first female) we have no desire to breed her so waiting until she can be spayed, im just looking for help and guidance what to feed her . what she us currently on doesn't seem to be agreeing with her ( just noticed it's full of rice which reading doesn't seem a good idea!

here in Gunnison, CO and I'm totally stoked! But I was also a native Texan for 52yrs where snow, except on rare occasions, was just a non-factor. This is only the beginning, and it's about a month late starting. All of our pre-winter to-do's are complete with a huge pellet stove installed keeping us all toasty, heated water lines, artic skirting around our park model home, etc. Now we can sit back and enjoy the show as winter draws even closer. Here inside our campground the average depth of the snow will be from 4-5 feet by late December. I guess I'm the
I'm curious if anyone ever had a puppy that on first examination, your vet picked up what sounded like a heart murmur? I have done a lot of research and found that they are not really all that uncommon and can be outgrown.
