Whether you live in Huntington Beach, Calif, or not we need your help! The Huntington Beach City Council is bound and determined to shove a MSN and Mandatory Microchip Ordinance down the throats of these citizens! We need your help to protest this ordinance. Please, help us defeat the Mandatory Spay, Neuter, and Microchip Ordinance.

Jamie opened his eyes this morning, and squeezed Laura's hand. His brain pressure is down to 10 from 40 and the swelling keeps coming down. THey took him in surgery about 1130 and just got out at 6pm. They were able to save his leg, they said it went back together like a puzzle and he has full range of motion. They are not doing surgery on his shoulder and arm since it looks good the way it is. The are thinking of doing facial surgery this weekend..

Keep all the prayers coming, they are working for sure.

The HB City Council is set to vote on Monday, November 5th on a mandatory spay and neuter ordinance and micro chipping of all dogs and cats. If this ordinance passes, it could build up steam for a revised AB
1634. I will be attending the City Council meeting, if you would like to e-mail me (rhtruong@yahoo.com) your letters I will print them out and bring them to the meeting.

SD rescue has contacted PetPAC and CFODC as they need help with supplies. They need crates and x-pens to help house dogs surrendered due to the fires.

I just got home from Harborview Trauma Center visiting Jamie; Laura Gellerson's fiance (they were getting married this Saturday). Jamie was in a major motorcycle accident last night. He had not taken his Harley out in over a year, and yesterday we had a freak warm day almost 70. He took his bike out and was on the freeway going about 80 (10 over the limit) A drunk driver cut in front of him, Jamie swerved to get out of the way, and hit the edge of the truck. A doctor saw the accident and started CPR right away until the medics got to the site.

blanketing Southern California, Susan Sholar, President of the California Federation of Dog Clubs (CFODC), has opened her California School of Dog Grooming in San Diego to coordinate both the distribution of donated pet supplies and available local boarding spaces.

PetPAC urges its members to send pet food, collars, leashes, crates, and other pet supplies to the California School of Dog Grooming.
