You know, I've been thinking about this whole "board as family" thing...

Lisa Wagner just said something in a post to Gail about letting her know how "our girl is doing."

The way this board rallied together to help out Cody was nothing short of amazing. And Ce keeps saying over and over how Cody is belongs to everyone here.

With Pride having a scare and Georgia still in ICU, I kinda feel like we are all in this together. I'm so worried about poor little Pride, and I've never even met her. It's almost as if we all share ownership of our bullies with each other, you know?

I know I'd be a wreck, like I am worrying about Pride and Lisa Waits poor missing doggies and little Georgia, if I were to read that something was up with Mojo or Milo or Murphy or Maggie (using just M's so as to not exclude anyone! ) I'd feel as if it happened to Grover.

I'm rambling - but do you guys get what I'm saying?

This is just such a great group of people and I'm so happy to have you all "in my life." (Trying not to get too sickeningly sappy!!!!)

Julia & Grover

me too

I can't always post or respond due to the demands of life, work and a demanding 2 year old, LOL but I try to read several times a week to keep up with how everyone's bullys are doing and see the latest photos and read the latest stories and be there in the background It's been almost a year already that I've been visiting this board!

Like a bulldog cult?

Sounds cool. We could all move to Montana, if that's okay with Gail.

I HAVE AN IDEA!

How about we ditch all of our hubbies and move in together with all our bullies!!! We can be one big happy family lol!
K I need a glass of wine! At least I make sense when Im on that lol!

Yep Yep

I agree - this is like one big giant family, I feel like all of our bulldogs are like my babies, I love them all and all of you. I say, Bully Owners are one of a kind!

We love you ALL!!! n/m

mn

I agree, Julia

What got me started checking the board frequently, daily, was to see how everyone's sick bullies were doing. I had to know. I don't even post all of the time just because of time, but I check frequently. I have learned so, so much since I have been coming here. I try to generally be supportive to most people, and am very happy to come to a place like this where most people are supportive. So different than the real world. I do think people are different and if real, will differ. I do want it to be a place, though, where people can be and are honest. I do think it is interesting that most on the board who are drawn to have bullies because they are wonderful are also warm, caring people. Sometimes, just like everyday life, I think people say things without fully thinking them out and their ramifications. But the folks on the board are generally fairly forgiving, too.

This site remains a great place for people devoted to bullies and their welfare.

We feel the same way!

I also don't post as often as I would like...but if I am having a rough day all I have to do is come here...reading the posts and seeing everyone's gorgeous Bullies always makes me smile

I LOVE THIS PLACE...

You guys are all great...I'm not a big "poster", but I read a lot, and I'm so thankful for all of the knowledge here - Elsa is my first bully & the love I have for her is just...unsummarizable! (if that's a word) - it's so wonderful to be able to read about what you and your bullies go through on the day-to-day, have questions answered from your experiences and the support system that exists here is the most amazing I've seen in my nearly 10 years of surfing the net!

even my MOM (who doesn't have a bully) sometimes stops in to read the goings on with people & look at the pictures.

You're a great group! Yes, like family!

Thanks Ce, I appreciate that!

And I'm so happy for you, your family and Cody. He and all misstreated dogs deserve to have a loving and caring home and he couldn't be in a better place then with you. All you have to see is his eyes in those pictures to know what's right.

I'm going have to say ...

whether you are a often poster or a lurker...or anywhere inbetween ..your an equal part of this board..and I love seeing your name pop up ..and Norbert..well just his name makes me smile...
family includes the quieter ones too..not just us noise makers..smile...ce

One big family ....

Worrying about and sharing the joys of all of our babies!

I am fairly new, but

I feel like I know most of you personally, and Theo and I have been welcomed with open arms. All of you are a wonderful kind group of people.

nice to be wuved!! n/m

Re: You know, I've been thinking about this whole "board as fami

Well I think there are many that are a part of this family. I don't consider myself a regular, although I do read often just don't post often. Time just doesn't seem to allow it. But this board makes me smile and cry everyday.
Everyone is so passionate about this board and this breed and that's what is important.
Just look what can be done in such a short time in numbers when people put their minds to it.
I know that if I have a question then I will get great advice, help and support (with many diverse differences
Webbie you've got a winner here.

100% agree...
