I bought a little tiny baby's toothbrush. Very tiny and soft. The I put the Gold Bond in a little tupperware bowl. I dip the toothbrush in the powder, then I run it against the way the fur lies, in my case I go from the bottom of the crease, working up towards the eye area. It works the best of any method I've tried for really getting the powder in there. Plus, I can sort of 'brush it in' for added drying power.

Hi, I put the powder in a ketsup bottle with a nozzle. The kind you can buy at the dollar store. You know the ones...red for ketsup & yellow for mustard. Works great, very easy & no mess. Sue

Deb, I'm sending you an email with a few links. I get on-line at a great price. I don't think webbie will like if I post them here as they are not Bulldog items.

I use this also. My vet suggested it and I has some for his ears, but I'm about out. I looked at PetsMart but they didn't have it. Can I only get it from my vet or will I need to order it? Where do you get it.

When I first got my Murphy before xmas I went out and bought him all of the goodies. After his 1st bath, I was puzzled at how I was supposed to 'squirt' this powder on his face to keep him dry without getting it up his nose and in his eyes.
So I put some of the powder in a ziploc baggie and scoop some up on my finger and run my finger in the creases...hope I am describing this well. I do this after I wipe with a cotton ball doused in peroxide. And I do this mostly when he is sleeping!

I use Epi Otic ear wash solution squirted on a cotton ball and have been using it for years. I use it on Sumo's facial folds, in between his toes and even under his tail before it was amuptated. There are ingredients to help stop yeast and bacteria. It really cleans out all the gunk that builds up and doesn't smell too bad either.

I use a tablespoon of Boric Acid Powder, half tablespoon of Vit E Cream, and half tablespoon of vasaline.
Mix it all together so it makes a paste, and then rub it into the winkles and under the nose fold.
Leave it on for the day and then wipe away in the evening... do this 3 - 4 times a week, and it keeps his face looking clean, and helps things stay dry.
question
is this the "blue stuff"? I use it too, and am running low. would you send me the links too? thanks, cneinhorn@aol.com nettie
or try this way...

This is how I apply powder

Also...........
you can dip a q-tip into the powder and blow off the excess. Q-tips are great for getting way down inside the deep folds.
email being sent to you

Jade, important question
Thanks for the hint, however, you did not mention how many lagers, and are they before or after?

I agree
I will also put on gold bond baby powder to keep them dry afterwards!

What I use
Hydrogen Peroxide on a cotton ball & dry well. If it's irritated I'll put on diaper rash ointment. Works like a charm and it's inexpensive.
Most of the tear stain stuff you can buy through catalogs and stores don't work. Don't waste your money.
