Would you say there's a big difference between male & female bullies??

Is it easier to train one over the other? Do they have different personalities? etc...

With bulldogs, it's the girls who get to control the remote cont

. . . the boy dogs are more interested in checking out the girls' butts, drinking beer, and scratching themselves. Oh wait, that's a lot like humans too . . . except for the remote control issue.

More seriously, I've only owned female bulldogs so far. I have found them to be incredibly loving and affectionate, especially when Jif and fried chicken are involved. I know several owners of females have found that they are more bitchy, but I have never really seen that in my girls. There have been some occasional spats but they are very infrequent.

I have only had one of each and they are very different but

we had Winnie since she was a pup and Hooch is a rescue, so I suspect that is the biggest factor. Our girl was the who would hump, mark her territory, etc. Hooch, our boy, does none of that. Go figure. And Hooch wasn't neutered until he was about 4, when we got him.

Definitely... the girls are not as

clingy as the boys, at least the ones I have had. The boys are much more 'Goober like'...mushy and need lots of extra lovin'. This is just my experience over the years.

Yes, from my perspective.

It is a 'generalization' based on owning about 14 bullies over the years, and of course, handling many others in Rescue, but I found the girls to be smarter/quicker to learn but also slower to trust...where the males have been sorts dumb and sweet, much more clingy and needing longer to learn. When I was working with my young dogs in Obedience, those differences were most apparent. happy.gif
