The father of one of my friends was the high school football coach of both Peyton and Eli Manning, as well as of their other brother, Cooper, who has a medical problem that prevented a pro career.

And here is a funny but true story about their father, Archie Manning, who was the Saints' quarterback for many years. When Archie was with the Saints, he worked a few offseasons as a salesman at a local car dealership. My brother went to the dealership one time to look at new cars and Archie was the salesman who showed him around. At the time, Archie was making $450,000 a year, which seemed like a lot of money to us back then. But while talking to my brother, Archie kept expressing concerns about his financial future after his playing days were over. I can't recall if Peyton and Eli had even been born yet, but since they both make about ten million dollars a year, I doubt Archie ever worries anymore.

Yes, Jerry does make some dumb choices, but I continue to follow the team. I adored Tom Landry and have been a fan ever since the 60's in Don Meredith years. I even cheered for them during the T.O. mess. I really like Tony Romo and hope they do well tomorrow!

Jerry turned this team into a bunch of criminal thugs that get away with anything because they play football. The one and only time I have rooted for them since Jerry bought the team was last week when they played Philadelphia and that is because I want to see Philadelphia on the bottom of the food chain as long as Vick is on their team
