today I had to go to the city and get some blood work done..stopped at Petsmart and got a few things for the dogs to play with.
a Holy roller was the one thing...well do you think the bullies would play together with it..NOT on your life. Bella says it is MINE and that is the end of it..lol. the pugs can take away from her no problem but Better NOT be Gus..or she has something to say about it.
the other thing was a cute soft ball. well when the ONE bully wanted it..the other BULLY had to have it too.. and now that I am typing on the laptop..what is happening. NOBODY wants it..just lay by my feet and take a nap.
so I CAN SAY no sharing here with my bullies ...
but if ONE bulldog has something the OTHER wants it too..always
the same for the same slobbered tennis ball..hahahhahah NOT idea why..they are at least 30 tennis balls here but they have to have the same ONE..
do your bullies share their toys?
FOOD??.....................no way....no way.....no way...there is absolutely NO way they share food..and that goes for both of the bullies. the pugs share all the time together..but not the BULLIES
he makes us laugh all the time. He's got so much personality..
He has to be with people or another dog. He could never be an only dog. All the others would be thrilled to be an only dog, but not Bent. The lap sitting is what amazes us. I've never had a bully want to be so huggy and close. Most tolerate affection, but don't really like it.

I don't rescue animals because I want to feel better about myself, or morally superior to anyone. The best part of my life with animals is the humility they teach and the humanity the foster.
As affectionate as he is, he still likes to sleep in his crate with the door closed at night. He is the only dog I've ever seen with a bed time. At 9PM he gets his sleepy face and can barely lift his head. It's so dang cute. We say, "Time to go night night and he gets up drags himself to his crate."

Bentley makes me happy
That face just melts me! And I LOL at the "no one wants anything Belle's sucked on anyways" . They really are, every single one of them, complete individuals. I guess life would be so DULL if they were all exactly the same. Well, besides the fact that they are ALL outrageously cute.

three coexist without fights. Toys are laying around..
New toys would cause a problem. Everyone knows the balls are Bentley's and the stinky teddy bear is Belle's. Nobody wants anything she sucked on anyway. Junior gets his special private tug time with dad in the hall at night. He may pick up a toy to woobie. They don't fight over old toys.

Bent, Jr., and Belle eat in the same room in their respective spots. Nobody is allowed to clean up after anyone else. I pick up any flying kibble. They are all herded out to potty after they finish eating. When they come back in the bowls re all picked up.
Roxy does not share. She growls from her crate if she has a bone and another dog is in the room even looking in her direction. She came from a breeder who kept her with two other girls in an outside run. I think she learned early on that if you want it, you have to fight for it. She really should have been an only dog.

LOL
that is cute
made me laugh..
that is true Cathy..
well said and that is the truth
cute cute pics Cathy
all of your dogs are very adorable..
bulldogs are nice looking and cute but they have minds of their own and I agree a dog in the end of the day is what they all are..
I guess at the end of the day they are still dogs
and are just as varied in personality as any other species.

it's really kind of sad, that such an adorable breed has trouble
especially when it comes to treats, toys etc. I'ts hard enough to find toys that are suitable for bullies and not expensive, like they say you can't have your cake and eat it to,
Mike and the bullies
No way
will Audrey share her toys or her food. I can take anything away from her no problem but not the other dogs. The first big fight my dogs got into was when Princess took Audrey's soccer ball and shook it. Audrey went nuts.

here is Princess. Her 13th birthday is Feb 11th. her face used to be all black except for brown eyebrows
and here is Bridget, Princess' sister. She is my baby!

Your gonna love this!
Bubba is soooooooo stingy! He has a million toys, and if anyone comes over and picks up one of his toys he runs over and jumps on them to give him back his toy! I mean he could be just sitting there or sleeping, paying no attention whatsoever to his toys and as soon as snyone takes an interest he's up and running! Like a little kid saying GIMME BACK MY TOY!!!! LOL It's so funny! I just laugh, I think it's cute!

Re: Family dogs come over and stick their face right in
even my structured non-feeder allows my moms dog to stick its face right in his dish. he likes to take her toys though, and he'll bring them over to her, and have her chase him. He's never been aggressive over toys or food.

they share....
everything and i think its becasue wilson was around older dogs and they let him get away with murder...he would take toys.... eat out of their dishes...push himself into bed with them...so at two when charlie came at 6 months they share everything...charlie gets upset when wilson is not around...if wilson goes outside charlie is two feet behind him....

this is bob who was 13 yo with wilson who was 5 months....wilson would follow bob everywhere kind of like his big brother
this is charlie and wilson getting some sun together
Family dogs come over and stick their face right in
he doesn't care. He's a free feeder so he knows it always there. LOL

HE will share his food with another dog... wow..
that would never happen here..
I can share their food though..lol and they could care less..
but not another dog..no way..
Ball forget it
Onslow thinks keep away is the best game ever (which can start fights) so I don't let him have balls around other dogs.

Food, heck ya - he'll share. We used to always put our hands in his food dish so he's pretty cool about that. No ball sharing though. =)
