He was one of my favorite christmas cards in that cute winter sweater. I would just love to give him a big squishy kiss in the no zone. !!!

so far that is the only bulldog that surprises me in the weight..
he looks much smaller then that..maybe cause he is stalky..
cute as a button...

Morgan is 5 and weighs 42 lbs.
Maizy is 7 and weighs about 58 lbs.
Bella my foster girl is about 8 and weighs 54 lbs.
Trace is 15 months and weighs about 60 lbs.

MAYBE start a new thread...with that weight loss they deserve their own thread..and besides many members have their bullies on diets..LOL so would be cool to see the change

now...Gracie was up to 67 lbs and is down to 58 lbs...Sugar was up to about the same as gracie, and now weighes 59 lbs...Sugar goes next week to the vet so I will get her new weight then...Sugar only weighed 46 lbs when we adopted her...guess I let her get a buddaha belly by mistake....no more for the gang they are slim and trim...lol

I agree funny how their structure is soo different..
mine are not the same as all ...
Gus is just over 2 and expect he will fill out more..yet
Bella is 3 and sure she has reached her expanding..she has gained lots of chest this past year..
Gus I am sure will this coming year..

It's funny how their body types are so different. Mozie is trim looking and his legs and feet are huge! Ollie is chunky with tiny feet. Last year they weighed 61 pounds each, but Mozie got taller and finally has his full growth, unless he starts growing horizontally! I give her 1/3 of the amount of food twice a day because she gains weight easily.

mine were close to where they are now at 9 months or so..
did not see much weight change after that point..just filled out big time..

he will fill out much more over the next couple of years

try a 52 pound bulldog..on your lap

mine are close to the standard weight..or what the standard says..lol at least..
I agree some bullies carry their weight well.
I seen a show male here in Ontario and he was well over 65 pound male..a champion too..and big big boned...massive bulldog.. but georgous...

but both reached their weights they are now about 1 year old
did not see much weight gain..since they were a year old..
just really filled out lots more..in the next couple of years..

I bet we will see many more on this thread in his size bracket though..

He weighs 65. Myself nor the vet thinks he's "overweight". We knew he was going to be big when all his litter mates were just hitting 8 and 9 pounds and George and his brother were almost 13!

I have a champion female 3 years old she is 43#
2 champion males - 52, 54 lbs.
7 month male at last check up about a month ago - 42 lbs, His littermate is now at 37 lbs (but was 33lbs at that last check up)

The weights you are talking about for your bitch and dog are standard sized. Bulldogs for being one breed can definately range in weight. Have seen some my size all the way up to 70# plus

Atlas was only around 37-38lbs at his last vet visit. He will be 17 months on Tuesday. He is built really little and is perfect at this weight according to the vet. We saw his momma when we got him and she was tiny too. Don't expect him to get much bigger, which is perfectly fine with me. Love my pint-sized pup!!

Prince is at about 48-50 lbs and is 6 months old. Is this normal, the doctor says that he is fine but everyone is always saying that he is huge for 6 months. I belive his father is about 60lbs.

Gus is short though
about 14 inches at the shoulders

his ideal weight is more like 65-69 lbs but he hasn't been below 69 in years. He does have long legs though.

to stay the same for that many years..
I guess mine will stay on the smaller side
by the looks of it..

She's been at this weight since she was 2-years old, eight years ago.

too cold and too snowy for the bullies to stay out there to long these days..
in the spring and fall it is hard to keep them inside here..
yea they all gain some in the winter..
us too..lol
not the season for diets..the winter at all

and needs to go on a diet. Winter weight is bad
