What Bulldogs do in Las Vegas when it is 103 degrees
Submitted by Anonymous on April 20, 2010 - 5:26pmHere is an example of what my dogs do. I had put Phooey and Chancey out mid day to go potty for a few minutes. I looked out the window, and instead of being on the patio where there is a wading pool and a water lickit, or even laying in the shade, here they are sunning themselves. It was 103 degrees.

Here in Cincinnati, it's so depressing, I wish it would warm up so we could start swimming. I'm not into the 70 degree water-ugh! Malinda and the pack!

That is what Lily does.
It makes me so nervous. She start to breath heavy and then she wakes up goes in her pool and goes and lays in the dirt that is always in the shade.

It's funny, seems they enjoy it, huh??
I agree, I wouldn't let them stay out long, but they do pick a place in the sun and seem to enjoy soaking up the heat.
Poor babies
Going to get heat stroke. They are probably use to the temp. I know mine will lay out in the sun for awhile till I call them in when it's 103 here in Tx
It was 107 in Phoenix today...
and we waited until it was almost dark and took a little walk to the corner and back. Poor babies really miss their long walks.
