Previous dogs....Abby (German Wire Haired Pointer) and Onyx (Black lab/whippet mix) both are deceased.

Buddy, His name is, GUIDO'S BIG SUGAR BUD. I just like Big Bud, and Dottie says he's sweet so.......
Brother's name Is, BROTHER CAN YA SPARE A DIME. He is Buddy's 1/2 Brother, so his name is Brother.

We have an Italian theme going on here.

Usually with registered names, you start with a kennel name. For example Trace's name begins with Kosmic and that's the name of the kennel where I got him. Then the rest is up to you. I added Third Time's A Charm because 3 is a good number for me and he was my third male bulldog. I picked Trace as his call name for the Spanish word tres which means three.

Bear is Iron Mike (as in Ditka. We didn't want to call him that so we went with our football team name instead)

Sumo was Sumo Akebono St Valentine (when we got him, Akebono was the grand yokozuna of sumo wrestling and we got him on Valentines Day)

Libby was Lady Liberty (she was born on July 4th)

Boo's name comes from my favorite holiday, Halloween, and my favorite novel/movie, To Kill A Mockingbird. Scout's name also comes from the latter.

Clovis's name comes from the name of the cat who is the hero that saves the day in the Stephen King movie "Sleepwalkers." Not a great movie, but the cat was really cool. He was the pet of a Sheriff's deputy and he rode around on patrol with the deputy.

Flynn's name is just an Irish name I liked. I read on a web site that it was becoming a popular name for baby girls.

My cat's name is "Cat Bastard." I also call him Atticus, which is from To Kill A Mockingbird.

My new kitten is named Finch, also from Mockingbird.

If I ever get a pet elephant, I will name him Homer, from the writer and the Simpsons.

If Megan Fox ever goes blind and marries me, I will name her whatever she wants to be called. And hope she is not as dumb as rumored.

(Plank and Squid) they are named after characters from Sponge Bob Square Pants. My 1st Bulldog was Clyde. I didn't name any of the 3 though.

Maddox, Angel, Dallas, Jackson, Lola, Spike, Bella, Mack

was named from a cartoon character that was on TV. It really really suits him.
he is my deaf bully. I love his name though too.
there are some rescue groups for bullies here in Ontario..just google the Bulldog club of Canada and that should give you all the rescue places to look.

also you might want to contact a breeder..they might have a retired bulldog that needs to be placed too.

The previous owner actually named her that because he said he always wanted a dog named Harley but since she was a girl, he chose Hurley. Everyone asked us if we are fans of the tv show Lost because there is apparently a character on that show with the same name. We could have changed her name when we got her but we liked it.
