Submitted by Anonymous on April 20, 2010 - 5:27pmof “Shiloh’s Zimmer of Belmar”, born on April 14th, our little bullie pup who will be coming home to us on Father’s Day. He is named in honor of his dad (Shiloh) and Don Zimmer, the Manager of the NY Yankees (who slightly resembles a bulldog).
I want to thank everyone here on this board (especially Pam) for their advice, suggestions, humor and friendship. I’ve learned more from all of you combined than the three books I’ve read. After reading through the 200+ pages of posts, I’ve put together a little book for myself with all of your remedies and advice so I don’t drive my vet...or all of you...crazy....although I probably will anyway. I’m sure I’ll be a nervous mother.
So, the house is puppy-proofed, the crate is set up, the box of toys (yes, there’s a Kong), food, treats, leashes, collars, brushes, beds, bitter apple, and Nature’s Miracle are all waiting for him and the bulldog medicine chest is filled. I am still searching for the infamous “tirebiter” and have ordered the bag balm.
Next step, figuring out how to post pictures!!

countdown to bully pup 'pounding' (house welcoming party) is on!!... we're counting with you, as we KNOW the feeling. : ) (We got Arthur 2 days after Xmas.)

zimmer is doing fabulous. i lost your email. i do have some pictures and will hopefully post them later this afternoon. what a toughie he is. he and phoebe have become very good friends. i have to install my zio so that i can upload the pictures. kathy

When I picked up Gretta at the airport when she was 8 weeks old I cried...I could not believe how beautiful she is
