I need a little advice here. I have a six month old female and just weighed her at 39 pounds. I am still feeding her three times a day with puppy food probably a cup at a time. What is an average weight and should I cut her down to twice a day. She is on ProPlan puppy food. My three year old female weights 53 pounds and is in great shape. I don't want puppy to get to chubby.... Any advice... Thanks ahead
Suggestion....
Jan, at 6 months I move my pups to twice a day feeding giving them the amount their food suggest for a dog of their weight split between the two meals. Should not be feeding them puppy food at this time.
I have a 7 month old and she weighed in at 44 pounds yesterday and she does not look heavy. She, like most pups has lots of energy and is always on the move. I feed Canidae and supplement with PetTab, Vit C, Kelp and a G/G mix.

Leeloo eats Pro Plan too, it's what her breeder was giving her..
although I'm thinking of switching her eventually to help with the tear stains... do you guys have this problem with your bullies?

Hi Jan! Thats so funny, I never find anyone on Pro Plan..
My girl Molly is a little over 5 months old and I have her on pro plan, she weighs in at 36 lbs
do you have any pics?
I feed Pro Plan, chicken and rice
However, I would put her on adult now. As far as her weight, it is hard to compare two different dogs. It all depends on their build and size. One 53lb dog might be perfect, overweight or underweight.
If you can post a picture of her, side, and over the top, it is easier to see how she is on weight.
pics.
I am working on the pictures. I am not good with the picture thing but will try and post the two darlings. However, my little Daisy Mae is in the puppy contest on bulldogdomain.com Ask me if I am proud!!!!!
