David and I were walking along the sea wall here in Tel Aviv and David spotted a couple with a dog that had a familiar wiggle. I chased after the folks and it was, as we guessed, a bulldog. The people spoke very little English and I speak almost no Hebrew, but I managed to explain that I had a bullie, and I was missing my Maybull very much.

I skritched the bullie's butt and petted and cuddled her (the bullie's name was Lola) and showed them a pix of Maybull. Lola was so sweet and SHE HAD A BALL IN HER MOUTH, which was so cute.

I tracked down a computer so I could tell you guys. There are bulldogs everywhere, except, perhaps Jerusalem. But there are tons of dogs in Tel Aviv and at least one sweet bullie!

I'll be back home in a week and a half and will again join the BDW.

We're having a very fun time wandering around and eating at good restaurants and seeing interesting things. We've seen the Church of the Holy Seplicar (sp) and a lot of the Old City of Jerusalem. Tonight, in Tel Aviv, we ate at an Argentinian beef restaurant, yesterday at a sushi place. Before that, I was eating a lot of Israeli fish. Back to Jerusalem for a couple of days, then down to Elat for fun in the sun (I hope). It sure beats -17 below zero back home.

I miss you guys and all of the bullies.
