Took Maybull to the dog store today for a much needed nail clip and a walk around for some attention.
Earlier, I opened the back door to let her out to do her business and the door hit some icicles which came crashing down, milling the bullie by an inch or two. Lucky for us these were small icicles. Some on our house are big and thick and more than six feet tall. I hit them with an ice chopper and they sometimes fall, but I know I'll have to do this again tomorrow.
Have you read the book "The Lovely Bones?"
in the book, big icicles like the ones you describe are a powerful instrument of God's justice.

wow
icicles can be so dangerous, I always tell my grand kids to stay away, but not once did I ever think about them falling and hitting one of the dogs, glad that Maybull was not hurt, I know what I will be doing tomorrow,
