Warm weather warning
Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:25pmJust a reminder. Please do not leave your dogs in your car during warmer weather. My brother called me from Albany NY last night to tell me a man left his Bulldog in his car while he attended a festival. The dog died after apparently quite a struggle. It was only 67 degrees. It doesn't take much!!

My friend from Albany called me also and told me the same story. How sad, and how stupid of the owner. Didn't anyone see the poor dog in the car?
Not just cars
Someone here on the board lost 2 bullies when her home air conditioner failed. A relative was checking in on the dogs while she was out of town and in just a matter of hours, in a closed house, they succumbed to heat exhaustion.
