I only ask cause the last time we were at vet with Bear (Golden who we are trying to track down what he's allergic to right now) we were told that if they lick their feet that's an allergy to something in their environment more so than the food. This may simply be the first clue to a bigger problem. Keep a good eye on him for a while.

Maybe you could lick your bone instead of your feetsies.

My dogs do that too. Usually there is no reason, unless they irritate it from licking so much. I have always wondered if it's a security thing like kids who suck their thumbs.

perhaps you should feed him...more cookies, pwease, mom! I mean, after all, Sherryl, Onslow says that "She never feeds us" LOL! LOL!

the most favorite chew toy at our place is the NYLABONE that is shaped like a wishbone...they cart that thing all over the place...and the big set of keys too.

hope that he finds something else to lick.
and no the ears..lol. that can cause infections..been there and done that in the other dog.

does he have alergies to something. sometime paw licking can be habit forming too..and a case of nervousness.
