to

> This regulation would REQUIRE that each medical record includes 1)
the

tentative
> diagnosis and prognosis; 3) the type and chronology of treatment
procedures

> administration, frequency, duration; 4) name of all vaccines and
dates
> administered; 5) dates and results of all screening, routine or other
tests.
> A copy of these records would be required to be provided to any

Thanks, it wasn't adding up. : |

.

well what I think I see is that this applies to breeders and

brokers...and maybe they are implying that these breeders brokers will not have as much time to spend with the animals if they have to cover all these bases....
This wouldn't apply to pet owners...so our time is the same..and yes I would think and hope that responsible pet owners ..and breeders alike already keep these records..so their time wouldn't be affected..but it sure would shoot a hole in the pup-millers..and brokers foot...always a good thing!!!ce

someone posted this last week and many of use emailed them...but

for those who haven't PLEAS take a moment and do so..this is a very good thing....and The USDA will listen to youremails...and of course te more sent the better...thanks for reposting it...ce

RE :USDA

Somebody please advise. I can see where required and enforced record keeping would be effective in eliminating mills and backyard breeders, I cannot see where this would affect time spent with our pets. ???
Responsible pet owners keep accurate records now anyway, as we are more than 'up' on our pet's health
and concerns. Irresponsible people have no business what-so-ever in having a pet of ANY kind, and I am all for making it extremely hard for them to obtain or breed genetically and physically pathetic animals just for the money.
(As you can tell, I HATE pet mills!)

Peace,
Gregg

I just emailed them... I am just shocked. n\m
