Well, first of all let me say thank you to all who posted in response to our requests for prayers. The overwhelming sense of love and compassion has helped us through this more than you will ever know! This is the best group of people I have ever met and I feel privaleged to be a part of your group.
Now for the best part...NO TUMORS!!!! Yeah!! You have no idea of the joy we feel in our hearts. We were so scared last night and today. It has been such a long 48 hours.
They did find a minor spot on the brain in the CAT scan, but after an intense meeting with the radiologist, they decided it was just an "artifact"...basically something they aren't worrying about now. The spinal tap was a no-go...they couldn't get any fluid...but they were just doing that to rule out all things anyway..so they don't think they would have found anything...they were just going to do it while they had her anesthetised.
So, now she's been diagnosed with epilepsy, at least it's treatable! So we have her on potassium bromide and we'll see how we do with that. But overall, she checked out with a very clean bill of health. Except for the epilepsy.
Her leg is healing much better from her surgery. So, for the first time in days we might actually be on an uphill swing!
She did get to come home tonight even after the anesthetic. We know what to watch for and don't plan on leaving her alone at all any time soon. So, we'd rather have her at home..at least she can rest easier her in her bed.
Again, I just need to thank everyone. It's so hard for me to find the words to express my gratitude. To know that you all are here when things are good, but especially when they are tough is so comforting. I know that it's because of all of your prayers that she is doing so well. God was really watching out for our little girl today. He has blessed us more than I can say. Your caring and compassion was a rock for us when we felt so desparate. To know that you all were praying for her this morning was just an amazing feeling. The thought that she was being lifted up by all of you brought and still brings tears to my eyes. I just hope you know how much your sympathy and concern meant.
We are doing great right now. We'll have her meds checked in a few weeks and go from there. But we can deal with this so I know we'll be fine.
Thanks again to all of you from the bottom of my heart. I hope God blesses each and every one of you and that his angels always keep your bully babies safe.
Have a wonderful evening! We're basking in the glow of good news! Madison sends giant hugs and kisses to all of you. Thanks again.
God bless,
Kristen & Madison

One more thing...to you webbie
I want to tell the webbie I'm sorry if he had to patrol the board more than normal because I mentioned God and prayers. I won't apologize for it, because I don't feel one is in need for those it "offended." I am just sorry you had a little extra work on your hands. If anyone has a problem with the fact I am a believer or requested prayers from my friends when we needed them...have the damn guts to email me yourself. The wonderful people on this board don't deserve to be bothered by your seeking to cause trouble.
Sorry webbie...
Kristen & Madison
