It's hard for the seasoned Bulldoggers to give advice if you give very non specific staements like "she's just in pain" or she just laying down. These guys here are way helpful but you have to tell them EVERY detail. Good luck with your baby, hope she's ok...

Just try to keep her limited in her exercise until she is back to normal and listen to the wonderful people here. They know best, well ok second best next to a vet. Hope Matilda feels better.

It sounds like it could be something wrong with her back. I would give her one buffered aspirin, wait about 30 minutes and if she is still obviously in pain, I would go to the Vet tonight.
Do you have your Vey's home phone #? My Vet will meet me after hours in case of an emergency. If not, go to ER vet.

How old is she? I advise crate rest and a Vet visit if she continues to limp. You can also give a buffered aspirin but I don't know if I would give one to a young puppy.
Just make sure your as detailed as possible when asking for help

Call the Vet
Wheather it's your own Vet or the emergency Vet and descibe to them what is happening. They will be able to help. Good luck.
