The trick is to teach your pups how to live together, you have to let them play but you have to draw the line on behavior you deem inappropriate. You will always have an "alpha", in bulldogs, it is usually the female if you have one. It is important that you introduce your dogs, give each separate time and love. Suggest you start by feeding the older first and treating him as the alpha..... work from there.
My two boys are the closest and my female is the alpha. The boys cuddle, sleep, and play all day long. You will only have a problem when any two dogs that both want to be alpha or one dog that is not secure with the alpha position and feels they have to continually establish this role. Most often the pup is so used to the older dog putting them in their place that they will carry this into adulthood even if they end up larger and stronger and may never challenge the older dog. Ask your breeder what your puppies role is in the litter. If he appears to be alpha male pup, I would steer clear and choose a more passive pup. Good luck and congratulations!

Ce, thank you. We have a 14 year old mixed breed darling female that we are having put to sleep today (she has emerged from an episode of Vestibular Syndrone). Since our hearts are breaking and we love our baby bully so much we knew the best thing to do was find a little bully and let Neumann take his place as "the big kahuna". We went with every intention of getting a female, however, she was the little "ugly" runt with her 5 brutish handsome brothers, so she was dismissed and hard to pick from the boys, finally we did, actually baby and Neumann look so much alike. But with all that is going on I awoke in a sweat with the thought of putting 2 males together. Neumann has been fixed since he was one, but still gets daily erections! (The reason we know is he proudly yips for everyone to see!) Thank you about the good advise of us being Alpha, actually we kept our old girl Alpha since the beginning and in her senility, up until of late she kept the boy in line!! With the seriousness of her condition of late Neumann has beautifully stayed in the background. So we greatly look forward to him having a playmate, thank you for telling us that it can work. Love to your bullies, Carolyn

actually we have 6 males.... 4 are neutered...and the Bullies both will be as soon ..as MoJo is bit older..and Cody is healthier... .I'm a strong alpha... and all the others just fall into place...we have some lip curling ..and growling when ever we bring in a new heartbeat..but it doesn't last long..and they all hang and sleep together during the day... we feed them at the same time..but in different areas...and have always taking bones or toys from their mouths since they were tiny...(we give it a back )..but just to teach them I be the Alpha...and so are the other two leggers... ...our two Bullie Cody ..and his son MoJo.love each other ..play and nuzzle..and face hug as they walk... ..I think if you start them off knowing the rules..and their place they should be fine...alot depends on personality...but for us males work fine...good luck..and congrats on your new little bullie love...and hugs to the first kahuna...ce...
