Twister worked his FIRST Florida State Fair this past weekend....
Submitted by flbulldogmom on April 21, 2010 - 12:36amActually Twister AND Dixie worked the meet the breed/dog trainers booth at the Florida State Fair - Twister was a real trooper, I was so proud of him - NOTHING phased this boy and he worked the crowd like they were all here just to see him!! LOL That's a bulldog for you...and of course a crowd favorite too!

I can send you our next meeting dates...we meet in Brandon, FL though, but we have a lot of members in Sarasota, Orlando, Lakeland, Kissimmee, etc..

- also there is a 4 day (all breed) show this weekend in Lakeland, bulldogs show at 9am - Twister & I will be there Sat & Sun

it was kind of cool over there. That's good for the bullies because they would have wilted in the heat, had it been a typical Florida summer day. Great pics and thanks for sharing them!!

I definitely would have worked a shift! That would have been lots of fun! Do you do the Sarasota County Fair? I think that's coming up in March if I am correct. I remember seeing a booth with a couple bulldogs a couple years ago there.
I would recommend joining the local bulldog club....
You could have worked a shift or two yourself!! I've been in bulldogs & dog training going on 7 years so am affiliated with multiple dog training groups & clubs as well as the bulldog club. I attend meetings and get info through emails - just lots of contacts and networking, etc..

I'm pouting over here! I soo would have jumped in the car and gone if I knew your babies were gonna be there. You must tell me how to find out about the local events that have anything to do with anything bulldog related...even if its only a booth at a state fair!! I'm addicted. LOL! Your babies looked soo well behaved in those pixs! How cute!

Twister is just fabulous, so confident and just loves the world, I love every moment we're together!! Big sister Dixie is helping to shape him too...he's becoming a awesome traveler, just goes with the flow - don't even know he's in the van! LOL
