Tuffy's first walk was a success!

Thanks so much for the idea of using a special to treat to get Tuffy to go on his first walk. When we first went out he just sat there and refused to budge. But then I tempted with tiny bites of burger and that was all the incentive he needed! He was a fast learner and before long even my kids weretaking turns walking him and he was having the best time.
Next time I'll bring the camera!

just remember to take the same treat each time you go out for a walk
so the bully remembers...what the treat is for..

they catch on fast with a good treat
I only use the best for walks and for housebreaking too.
I take the treats right out with me so I can catch them as they potty in the beginning
they catch on fast and it worked for all 5 dogs here..so far..
I use a different treat for potty training
and a different treat for walking..
in the house...I use whatever treats....changes all the time
but walk and housebreaking are special treats
