Todd Howard suspended from AKC for 10 years!

"The AKC's Management Disciplinary Committee has suspended Mr. Todd Howard,
Fallbrook, CA, from all AKC privileges for ten years, effective July 9,
2007, and imposed a $2000 fine for non-compliance with AKC’s record keeping
and dog identification requirements, and failure to complete proper chain of
registration. (Multiple Breeds)” (Todd Howard imports Bulldogs and French
Bulldogs from Hungary, selling them under the trade name BigBulldogs.com.)"
This certainly won't stop him from selling puppies, but a potential buyer may think twice when reading through posts and searching through the internet. This is hopefully only the beginning.

I don't get it either. I have been grilled over and over by people stating that it's not Todd's fault the puppies were shipped so young.....well who's fault is it? If Todd wasn't importing them the puppies wouldn't be stripped from their mothers so young...@ 6 weeks like Reggie was!
We received word last week that Todd Howard in fact gave fraudulent papers to people. What kind of reputable "breeder" does that?
For those that have called Todd and spoken to him personally....did you really think he would admit he is an importer of the lowest level? Of course not!
This was Todd's repsonse to me at one point....
"You did ask me at least 10 times if your dog was able to be registered thru the AKC. My answer to you was the same. I even filled out the paperwork for you and guaranteed you in writing that if you could not get an AKC reg. then I would refund you 100% of your purchase price and you keep the dog. Is that not true? I think that is pretty fair."
Guess Todd can't make that guarantee anymore!
Question for those who support this guy
and his business practice. This is due to more than one or two incidents. Is this not the type of "breeder" we as bulldog people talk about avoiding? I know a few here support him and I just don't get it?
As a "seasoned" breeder why would anyone need his advice?
Where are his "Rescue" dog's coming from?

I have been following this on other forums and this is sweeeet! If only we could stop the importing of these pups! So many die & suffer just for the greed of these puppymillers.

Finally the worm get's what he desreves!!! This guy has been ripping people off for a long time and could care less about the health and welfare of these pups. Importing dogs needs to stop and stop now before more innocent pups die!
