Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:26pmHi! guys. Found the first tick on Flora today. I bought the Advantix, but am somewhat hesitant to use it after the earlier posts. I guess I will spray the yard like I did last year and flea comb her nightly until I can check with the vet.
Guess this is the time of year they start coming out.
Last year I found over 20 ticks on her in about 3 months. YUCK!

Margaret, can your dog use Frontline? Here in SE MO, and in NE MO where we travel, ticks are always thick.
We've used Frontline since Arthur was 8-9 wks old and have never had problems with ticks being attached.
I use Cutter sportsman on myself and I have more problems, maybe I need to use Frontline! LOL

yuck...we have to stay out of the woods with the
yelpsters this time of year....and it's so beautiful..but the ticks are awful..and our yard so far has never had any....poor Flora....hugs sweetie...darn ole blood suckers...ce
