What do you all use for water bottles/containers in your bullies' crate? Now that Leeloo seems to be able to hold it through the night I want to put some water in there but she keeps spilling the attachable metal bowl... suggestions?
Also, at what ages did your bullies stop sleeping in their crates at night and when you're not home?

Well, we are
still crating Daisy -- she will be 1 yr on the 15th of this month. She STILL is not housetrained. So needless to say she doesn't have any freedom in our house. I am looking forward to the day though when I can trust her not to potty in my house or get into trouble.
As for the water -- we don't put anything in her crate to eat or drink.

Ya thats what I used
OOps are they meant for rabbits ? I said Birdies!! lol!
Bird Feeder thing a majig
I used one of those plastic bird feeders with the metal nipple, stuck it on the cage, Milo sucked it like a bottle and it worked like a charm no wawa anywhere!!!
Re: For those of you who crate(d) your bullie(s)...
We used the water bottle like rabbits use for Monty and it lasted about 1 week, I came home one day to his crate filled with water because he pulled the metal mouth piece out!!
He's a devil though, maybe your bullie wouldn't do that.
I still crate Monty at 1 year old because he still gets into everything!!!!! Not to mention Hildi is only 7 1/2 months old and barely potty trained, ugh!! So it's not fair to leave one in and one out of the crate.
the bottles hang upside down
and when they go to lick out comes water...magically...hehehe..good luck.
Metal pail
There is a metal pail that has a hook type thing that clips to the crate and hangs on the side. The pail has a handle and looks like a kids pail or bucket Works very well you can put it at what ever height you need and by it not sitting on the bottom it won't spill.
Crating...
I did not leave water in my dog's crate during the day. He was a year and a half when I left him out of the crate and he is fine now.. I have seen some people put the plastic water bottles in the crates for their dogs that bunny rabbits would use... hope that helps..
