For those whose Bullies lick their feet......

Do they have feet that are stained? Gretta's feet are white..or are supposed to be..but they are stained a reddish color from her licking them. Any ideas on how to get them white again? We got the licking under control and would like her paws white again...just a regular bath does not help...when they are wet the staining is even worse
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

I'm not sure but...

like I said before, Lincoln's are always red and it's because they are always a little aggrivated by allergies. I don't think you can make them white again, they will just turn white if they aren't aggrivated by allergies anymore. I don't think there is any kind of soap of anything that will get rid of it because they are red due to a reaction, not because they are dirty or something else. I'm not sure though....

re: feet licking-biting

allergies, nervousness, paw pain/ itch and mouth pain can all cause paw licking/biting/chewing.

take care

? is she allergic to anything

Some dogs will lick thier feet if they are allergic to something.

Bosco was allergic to Barley when he was a puppy, if he had it he would lick and chew on his feet. He is fine now but was off anything with barley for over a year.

You can clean the feet like you would tear stains. You might also have to spray them with bitter apple so she will not lick of the peroxide as it will make her vomit.

Check her food, avoid foods as you would for tear stains.

Possibly....

I am not sure about this. Maybe someone can confirm or deny it. But, I think I heard that you can clean that red from their paws by using a little Hydrogen Peroxide on the feet. I believe that it is applied with a cotton ball.
I would think that it would be worth a try. It sure cannot hurt anything.
Just a suggestion.
