thanks for all the repleys on Cody below...vet update..long

Sue thanks for your email unfortunatly when I try to repley it says there is an err..my server not yours...
will get back to ya asap.
Vet update:
for his skin/chin/and folds we have Animax
He will continue on antibiotics for at least one more week.
for his eyes..it's cyclosporin twice a day...and liqiud tear 4 times a day.
for his ears we are giving Tri-otic twice a day.and have Veterianry foaming ear cleaner..it foams out the crude gently...
...for his feet we are staying with the Aveeno he loves it..and you can hear him ahhhhhhhh when he gets his feet in the water....then we will use the animax on the sores.
bagbalm for his nose ..he likes that too...

as for his hearing,,,Jane after talking with you the other day...I have already started the hand signs...and have absolutely no negative thoughts about it if he is deaf...for us that is not a problem.that would just be another part of who he is..and we will just help him understand...with hands ..and smiles....and touch
I knew we might have some permanent health issues.
...from our side it's not a bother or a difficulty..Cody is a gift of a special spirit ..he shines ..as my grandmum used to say.smile
...my goal is he being pain free....and happy....his not having a clue that the outside is for pottying...(goes where he sleeps never moves...)or his being deaf..or any issues that can or maybe not be healed..and or taught...we just will work for his absolute daily joys..and his trust and love....
...he had his first Jumbone today..and he is grunting..and slurping..and sounding like a whole barn full of wild boars...pure bliss...chuckle...wait till he sees the big knuckle bone...grin...
thank yo uagain all...and i am taking pictures galore for sharing at a later date...blessings all...ce

Great news

Sounds like you are making wonderful progress. We knew it would take some time to fix him up but he has plenty of that now that he's with you. He is probably in bullie heaven, living indoors, getting yummy food, getting attention and affection and having his owies tended to. Warms my heart to know he is thriving already after only a week.

I'm still watching for your reply to me. I hope your server gets fixed soon

Kisses to the yelpx6.

I think you are doing great things!

...and I am behind you 100%!
Emily

Re: thanks for all the repleys on Cody below...vet update..long

It sounds like he is doing better and better but still a long long way to go. We are sending lots and lots of hugs and kisses his way.

CE and Cody

Ce,
I knew when you said you were in love with Cody that he has the most perfect place to get well and be happy. And of course, this time I was right! I love your (long) posts about Cody and what is happening with him and Mojo. Blessings on your vet for being so understanding and caring!!
Cody will remain in my daily prayers as will you as the both of you go through this mending time.
I never even had a thought that deafness would make a difference in how you feel about Cody. I am sure you feel just as I do about Dipper. It just makes them that much more special. You will be surprised how quickly he will learn the hand signals. Just be sure everyone at your house uses the same signal for the same thing.
I am looking forward to seeing all of the picutres you are taking!! And I am looking forward to the next Cody update.
God Bless you and keep you in His tender care.
Jane

The compassion you are showing will heal more than you know. :)

Re: forgot to mention ..todays vet total

Love hearing all this good news. We need more vets like yours.

Betty, Buddy and Mighty Dog

Godspeed Cody!

All good thoughts channeled to the sweetest little angel!

Barbara

It sounds like you all have the bases covered.

The Animax has strong antifungal, antibiotic, and a steroid in it to help combat all 3 things. That should be about the best you can do for his wrinkles sores, I would think. It sounds like you have a great, understanding vet.

Cody sure seems happy

Good job Ce, I am glad to hear that he is doing so much better.

wonderful Vet!!!

Now why is it that I can't leave the Vets office at least $100 poorer every single time Wonderful that your Vet was so nice that way

Re: forgot to mention ..todays vet total

I think Cody's vet is now a new honorary member of our board and Cody's family! He has magic powers to make people fall in love with him!

Deb

Cody

Ce,

It sounds like you guys are on the right track. Long road to go. Do you need to write his med schedule down or can you actually remember the routine? Can't wait to see pictures of the happy boy.

Give him a big smooch

Lynn K

forgot to mention ..todays vet total

for all the meds including the antibiotics...was a grand total of 17.00 and a Cody nuzzle ...she said she would soak me next time...chuckle...ce

i'll see what i have that doesn't have mojo velcroed to his side

just give me a bit..it's pupster feeding and meds time...smile..ce
love the Antie Boo pictures what a mug...and the camera lovs her...me too!ce

I am so happy for you all.

Good Luck-- Cody is in the right hands.

Ce, could you email me a really good photo of Cody

I did a cut out of that one that used to be on the web site. It's not a bad photo, but I sort of hate to use a photo taken by that prior owner. Do you have a really good one for use in the super secret not-so-secret project??

good for all of you!!! All of us!!!! n/m

.

thank you

you are doing a wonderful job - thank you for being an angel, ce!
Kiss the little men for me!
Kris
