She would just sit and look at my like "what in the world do you want???" LOL we tried treats but it wouldn't work AT FIRST but now it does. I can just shake the bag now and she runs to me know so keep trying with treats.
I find that if you get down to their level, clap your hands together, get excited and "call their name and say COME!!!" with a nice treat, they'll do it! When they don't expect it, repeat the above and treat! Soon, everytime you say COME, they'll run you over!

Stand about 10 feet apart. Put the puppy on the floor with one person and the other person says the dog's name and "Come". You can use a squeaker toy and a really yummy treat to encourage the puppy to come to you. When the puppy comes to you, praise her with "good come" and lots of petting. Then, the other person does the same thing. Hopefully, the puppy will be going back and forth between the two of you.
Puppies have short attention spans so don't do this for more than 10-15 minutes at a time.
I would recommend that you buy
"Really Reliable Recall-Train Your Dog to Come When Called-No Matter What"
It's a DVD by Leslie Nelson.
You can order it through dogwise.com
