Tail Pocket
Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:25pmIm reading some stuff trying to find out what to do about Molly and her stinky booty and have been reading alot of posts about tail pockets... what in the heck is a tail pocket? And what can you use Gold Bond powder for?

Muggs has his removed but it was very bad...
before I did that.. I had a huge pan kinds like a cake pan but about 4in deep...filled it with warm water
Muggs would sit in it everyday and I cleaned up under his tail it was hard but I put my finger up there--warm soapie water clean real good ---dry dry dry and the get a old mustard bottle fill it with powder--blow it up in the pocket....it does really help --even as bad as Muggs tail was.

I have been reading TONS Of past posts trying to figure out what to use for Mollys tail because of the stinky under, its not really strong, but enough that when you get down there you can notice it, I want to know what I should use to clean it, the vet said put neosporin on it, but I have been reading to use Goldbond Med. Powder? Heres a pic
Im kinda scared because the vet said sometimes the tail gets so bad they amputate it, but she said that would be a last resort, and if that where to happen I would take her to a bully vet that Helen recommended... her tail is very hard to lift out to clean...
yep sure can use it
pocket tail is very tight tail-that can curl back in to the butt....
