When you go to the site choose the smiley you want by left clicking it once...then you will see the code for it highlighted in the box on the bottom of that site called UBB code....right click in that box and click paste....this is what it looks like if you don't remove the [img] [/img] from the front and back of the link

You have to do it all together, no spaces.

1) First hit the comma (by the L) :
2) Then you hit the - (beside the zero)
3) Then you hit the Zero # ) for the smile

so we got : - ) all together
