Stella has thrown up three times today!

I woke up and there was a mess on the carpet, she threw up her breakfast around 3:00 and now, when I went to feed her, she threw up again.

She is drinking and gave Dave a bully dance when he just came in.

What could this be? She's never thrown up three times in one day before...

Poor Stella Bella...

sad.gif I hope she feels better.

I agree with everyone else about something to settle her tummy and some bland food. happy.gif

Nope, nothing else

Just took her out. Stool is loose-ish, but not diarreah. I'll be keeping a close eye on her, no worried about that.

She seems very thirsty though.

YOGURT works good too..if you have some of that on hand...

just something to coat the stomach..
and maybe just boil some white rice..and try that..

do you have some peptno there...??

peptobismal works in a pinch too...
we do have pepcid in Canada..but you will not likely find a drug store open at this time..
you need something to coat the bulldogs stomach
what about some plain yogurt?

Celine, you know I always worry about pancreatitis

IF it is that THE most important thing you can do is withhold all food AND water. Of course, you don't know if it's that without a blood test. I would go to vet in morning. Does she have diarrhea or any other symptoms? Praying for Stella. Email me if you need me!

Would a Maalox do?

I don't have Pepcid (not sure we do in Canada)

Have you noticed any amount of drooling along with this.........

usually then it is just an upset tummy
I have used the pepcid as well..or a shot of peptno as well..
does not happen much here but have seen it a few times a day on occasion..
they were fine in the morning..
I just layed off the food for the day and then used bland the next day
chicken and rice or something like that.

I usually give a pepcid if our guys throw up...

it seems to settle their stomachs.

Probably just an upset

Try feeding ground meat (chicken, turkey or beef) cooked with rice. That's what we do when Maybull gets the rumbly tumblies. If she's not better in a day, or if she won't eat this rice mix, post again.
