how did you come up with the name of your bulldog
Bella ..I wanted an old fashioned name. MY ex said to name her Bella. that is also his MOM's name..lol but the name was great it suited Bella to a tee. I love her name. at the time there was not that many Bella's for names of any breed of dog..not that way anymore..though.
Gus was named after a cartoon character on TV. the moment I met Gus..he was the household clown at the breeders as a puppy. Gus suited him really good. he lives up his name all the time. still is the household clown..lol although Gus is deaf..I still call him Gus and use a hand sign with an x over my chest.. I love the name Gus
so how did you come up with your name of your bulldog?

Harley is cute for a male bulldog as well
but Hurley is very unqiue and different

Farley is named after the late great Chris Farley.
We had a couple other names picked out, but we decided on Farley because he was short, round, chubby and always made us laugh so it fit him PERFECTLY!!! His "fancy" name is Mister Farley Blake. Blake is from the USCGC the Henry Blake, we wanted to add something CG in there because my husband is in the CG and our other dog has a CG name too.
Our Hurley was named by her
previous owner. He said he always wanted a dog to name Harley but since she was a girl he chose Hurley. I really liked it!

I love the idea of movie stars..good one
Most of my dogs are named after my favorite movie stars
and movies they were in.....for instance... Nick is named after Nick Nolte and he was in a movie called Peaceful Warrior... so Nick's registered name is Two Cross Peaceful Warrior at Jades. S

Boo is from Halloween and To Kill A Mockingbird
which are my favorite holiday and my favorite novel/movie.
Clovis is named after a cat who was the hero of the day in a Stephen King movie called Sleepwalkers. I subsequently learned that Clovis was also the name of one of the first French kings, King Clovis, who was also the founder of either France and/or Paris.
