what could this mean? Obviously his tummy is creating acid...wonder why. He already gets a snack of wet food before bed. Will mention to vet. Anyone give Pepcid on a regular basis?

Spanky gets a Pepcid every night before bed, as his vet suggested. He also gets a small handful of kibble. I'm not sure which one has helped his early morning upset stomach, but I'm going to keep doing both, because I do think it helps him sleep better. Our vet said there was no problem continuing the Pepcid on a regular basis. Good luck with Hooch!

yogurt before bed to settle the stomach makes sense it works in people too.. also with myself and I had stomach acid before my surgery to fix that..they suggested cheese before i went to sleep because it would help the stomach too. if not cheese.yogurt.. so makes sense to try the yogurt and see what happens..with Hooch
