i see! We get LOTS of snow, Although this year its been less then usual. We've only had a few big storms. This morning i went out for a photoshoot at 8am and it was negative 10 degrees out! it was chilly, thats for sure. Maine winters are...hard to get used to for most, i've liver her my whole life, so its nothing new to me. But i certainly love our summers, its gorgeous here in the summer. It can get really hot, summers are 75-100, our weather is so unpredictable....can be INSANELY hot...or freezing cold with rain and snow...you can never tell up here, lol, i think thats why i like it, always something different.
My ex lived in New Orleans for a long time. He's originally from Maine, and he couldn't wait to come home, even to the snow, lol, its just home for us.

but we do sometimes get cold temps. Two weeks ago, it got down to about 16 degrees. However, it does not snow regularly, just once or twice over a ten year period, and even then barely enough to cover the grass.
One nice thing I have noticed, tho, is that it is already staying daylight until 6 p.m. I hate when it's already night by 5:15 p.m. I wish Daylight Savings Time was year round.
I could never handle Maine winters but I would love Maine summers. August down here is terrible. Close to 100 degrees most days. But it's the humidity rather than the temp that makes it so uncomfortable. But Octobers are usually pretty nice.

no, the roads arent covered in snow. they're pretty well taken care of. we Mainers are pretty used to driving in the snow. It could certainly get dangerous if you dont know what your doing though.
