Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:27pmJust an update. General Snortscough is doing fine. He is a 9 week old toddler and gets into everything. He loves his older brother Gunner and they wrestle all day long. When should bulldog puppies start obiedience training? I appreciate any help. Thanks

I started Boo and Clovis
at around 12 to 13 weeks, in puppy class at Petsmart. They both did great.

Congratulations on your new addition. The center where I work, starts pups at 12 weeks. Try to find a trainer that uses positive reinforcement/ reward based training. Clicker training works well with Bulldogs. E-mail me and I will try to locate a trainer near you.

Great to hear they're doing well! : ) Obedience classes....
Puppy classes usually start at 12-15 weeks, depends on the trainers at the facility nearest you.
Compare schools and ask for recommendations and/or
references.
