I have not tried cheese or fruit or anything like that. I have the hard yogurt treats and she seems to like those if i break them up in to small pieces for her and then i have this chewy bacon treat but she wont even go near it but I will be trying the cheese and fruit here shortly. I didn't know anything about that

I took her to the Vet and he said that she was fine after the x rays. But lately she has come around. Ive been leaving her out of her cage at night and on her pillow. Shes really comfortable there and soon as we cut the lights off to go to bed that is when she starts to eat and drink. SO things are looking good and she is starting to warm up to her new family.

I usually only give treats when I need to give medicine. I hide the meds in cream cheese or bread. How is your girl doing? Did you take her to the Vet?

Unless I'm trying to slip her a fruit of vegetable!
Roderick, did you get a chance to have your pup checked out? He may not be wanting the treats because he's not hungry because he's not feeling good. I'd love to hear whether the vet thinks he's just really laid back or if there is actually something wrong.

Iams dry bones. I buy the Duck and potato treats (Natural Balance) for Jigger at the specialty store but he really doesn't like them all that much, I don't think, but I have him on a hypoallergenic type diet.

Mine seem to like whatever I'm eating - guess they aren't too picky. But try a few different things. One of my girls begs for apples and bell peppers, she also likes bits of orange and grapefruit, several of them like hard pretzels or baby carrots. Peanut butter on anything is a sure hit except for one dog who has figured out I hide meds in peanut butter and won't go near it. For dog specific treats I tend to stick with a good quality dog biscuit or some home cooked meat like chicken, turkey, beef or lamb. I avoid those cutesy type dog snacks that look like t-bones or sausages, etc. because they are loaded with sugar, dyes and fake stuff. The dogs won't eat those anyway.
my two love bananas
i sometimes dry them in the oven, but they like the fresh just as much
