Shampoo question

I'm out of dog shampoo, and Ruby needs a bath. Would it hurt to use people shampoo just this once? I know all about doggie dander, I am WAY allergic, but just for a quickie bath is it okay?

Salon shampoo

We have hair dresser friends who wash their bulldog in expensive salon shampoo. The dog does fine with this. I'm afraid, though, that I can't name the brand.

:-)

Spike just had a bath yesterday, and I can't stop petting him today, he's sooooooooooo soft and smells sooooo good! So true, no flaky skin. This was posted on another dog forum, and he truly has had no problems with this shampoo.

Of coarse, I am anxiously awaiting Anna's Poo shipment on 6/20 to try for Spike and Tru and me too!

We us Head and Shoulders too!

No dry flakey skin either!! And Saisy smells wonderful after a bath

Kim & Daisy

I use Head and Shoulders

and Spike smells soooooooo good when he's done! He's had no problems with this, and I got the idea from another board.

I think If she really really needs a bath..I would just wash her

till tomorrow when you can get the pupster shampoo...human shampoo can indeed be very drying...even the gentle sort....ce

A few months ago

I asked if you could use Johnsons and Johnsons.

Some said yes, some said no.

I don't know if it was just Lily, but she was itching like crazy for days after I used it. I think it dryed her skin up alot.

if possible

try baby shampoo (if available) or face soap/cleanser which are softer than human shampoo. but it's really the difference in ph levels that is not good for them... although i can't imagine once would be harmful...
