We don't go to Dr. Shaw, I actually take Elsa to Dr. J.B. Bruederle at Burnham Park Animal Hospital downtown at State and Roosevelt.

He's a wonderful bulldog vet - loves the dogs, loves the breed and has taken very good care of Elsa - he even gives me "over the phone" advice with her (for minor stuff) he's got a great personality, too (very outgoing and fun)...and he's close to where we live. I have heard wonderful things about Dr. Shaw, too - he was also recommended by the breeder I got Elsa from. I haven't had any serious problems with Elsa (knock on wood) - it's good to know that there are options with bulldog vets in the Chicagoland area!

Are you in the Chicago BCA? I'm thinking of joining. IF I can keep this dog, she's driving me nuts...

We go local for minor things but always go to Dr Shaw for bullie related problems and/or surgeries.

Many eons ago I went to grade school in Downers Grove!
