Report on Bulldogs - Help please

I am writing a report for my night school class on the history and standards of the English Bulldog and I need to interview people and reasearch my report. I am wondering if anyone has a strong understanding of the history of the englsih bulldog and the standard in Europe, Canada and the USA.
Any information anyone is willing to share would be great. I have to write 30 pages.

Check out the book Bulldogs & Bulldog breeding by
H.St.John Cooper. It is one of the series of Vintage Dog Books. Originally written in England 1900 or before. All about the English bulldog with pictures of the standard type then. Also check out molossor type dogs as they contributed much to developing the breed as we know it today. If you want email me and I can give you more info on when to source these things.
