well......got an email this morning from Brad and wanted to share so I'm pasting it in here.....
Bad Luck on Friday The 13th... NOT!
I am writing this to you with overwhelming pride & joy after watching Randy Palya, the 8-year old boy from the Make-A-Wish Foundation handle Dozer to first place in the Open-Dog class, then Best Of Breed, and yes... Non-Sporting Group FIRST at the Park Shore Kennel Club Sanctioned-B Match! And he gave the other beasts a run for their money in the Best In Show competition; which was won by a beautiful Australian Sheppard, but not after getting several second-looks from the BIS judge.
According to Brad, there was a huge crowd on hand. We couldn't be happier or more proud of our Dozer. What a wonderful day it must have been. I will be getting pics soon.
And to continue on a great weekend, these wins from this morning.....
Pewny earned another point going Winners Bitch and Best Of Opposite, and Dozer got Reserve Winners this morning at the Little Fort KC show.
Tomorrow is the Chain O'Lakes show. Let's hope the meatheads shine again.
Congrats to Dozer, Brad and Randy and bless their hearts for helping this little boy make his dream happen
:o)
That is just great, what a beautiful story. Thank Heaven for such wonderful blessings. What a sweet little boy too. How many 8 year olds would ask for that? That just made my day, thanks for sharing.
