Put "Marcel" in the search engine.
It's getting good. Court time is approaching.
Mel's and the Hale's have their papers.
Hale's dog: AKC # NP02743302
Mel's dog: AKC# NP02743303
Dam was Mountainview's Mimi, NM914275/05, a number the Mels' and the Hale's said was invalid. Well. lookie here, she's the mom. Dna for the stud and Dam can be researched and proven.
Their pups can be registered but
They still want $5k each for their pain. I think they want more but California has restrictions.
Others want jail time for Marcel because he was late with papers. Will he get it???
Best get informed about AKC guidelines before you slander someone.
Nobody was hurt here, just late papers for impatient people. All they had to do was wait and listen to what AKC and I had been telling them all along.
We should all be Americans and live united. Follow the rules and be cool.........
Marcel
Impatient people????
UMMM... Marcel, I bought the dog NINE MONTHS AGO!! I waited and waited and waited (I am STILL waiting) I STILL don't have the papers in my hand! After months and months of begging for the papers I finally decided to file in small claims court. I will NOT drop the suit because I still don't have the papers and there were damages. I spoke with an attorney, flew out to California, filed against you. How DARE you say I'm inpatient! The nerve you have! I was very patient for several months until I was told by other breeders that you should have had the papers by the time he was eight weeks old and he was SIX months old when I bought him from you! He is about 15 or 16 months old now. Where are my papers? They are NOT in my hand! I've had nothing but empty promises from you! You sent the wrong dog and you know it! YOU encouraged me to breed him after I asked you. I will SOOO gladly E-mail a copy of your E-mail to ANYONE out there that would like to see it. You assured me I'd have his papers but, of course, they NEVER CAME!! My problem with a $2800.00 price is that I never received papers for him and that is WAY too much money to pay for an unregistered dog! He has problems and you know he does. You acknowledged that his sire had the same temperament problems so WHY ARE YOU BREEDING HIM??? I, too have saved E-mails! You need to quit saying that my husband threatened your wife! That's rediculous! You threatened my husband and I have your E-mail apoligizing! Anyone out there care to see it to decide who's telling the truth? Just E-mail me. You should not have sold him as registered when he wasn't. Don't you dare turn this around on me! LOOK at your own E-mail! You did not send me the dog I purchased. I admit that I did not realize that for quite a while but that doesn't change the facts!
I thought you were posting to me--misunderstood. nm
nm
What are you not understanding?
Marcel was talking about himself in the 3rd person.
I dont understand your question?nm
nm
Well
Being mine is overseas--not sure. But when i did breed dogs as soon as the litter was born the paperwork was sent that day and usually recieved like you said before the puppies left. I did once forget to fill something in and it did take longer, after I panicked and called AKC as they hadnt come in. But I had another litter reg. onhand and sent it right off, think it took about 3 or 4 weeks. Now that was a long time ago but im assuming things are still the same?
Do you always talk about yourself in the 3rd person?
nm
Good question...
If the people had already bred her, one would think the bitch had to be at least 18-24 months. Wouldn't you as a breeder, Marcel, had those papers long before that? Usually they should be ready when the pups are ready to go at 8 weeks or more.
Hi Marcel
Im just curious how late was late in the paperwork? Im only asking as my pup is now 8 months old and i am still waiting for my papers from overseas.
You are right
The signature problem the breeder had became apparent only after the papers were applied for with AKC. Meanwhile, Carol and Heather wanted these dogs.
They must have liked them because they even bred them.
I also have e-mails where they loved the dogs.
Things went sour when they grew impatient about the wait. AKC on the other hand was telling me and the breeder to just wait. We did and all came out like the AKC said it would.
I was never in violation of any AKC or BCA rule during this event. We were in complete compliance.
Had we just forged the dam breeders name, we would then had been in big trouble but we didn't even think about that.
What was the hurry to breed babies?
The pups they did have are all registerable without penalties whatsoever.
This is it. Now I'm being sued for late papers?
$10k worth of damage?
How'd you like to be there vet? Better have a good lawyer on hand standing by. You'll need.
Marcel
Question then, Marcel,
As the owner of the stud, didn't you advise them to get the litter registered soon after the puppies were born? And, if you weren't the owner of the dam, what were you doing selling a puppy as your own? If this puppy was six months old and still hadn't been registered, and you could not reach the owners of the dam, doesn't sound like this dog should have been for sale.
You know the drill.
You were told the papers were coming, they came.
You have endlessly called me a fraud,a cheat and said the dam was not a legit number, all B/S............
Wouldn't have given you your dog's AKC number had the dam been a fake....
Eleven years of breeding and you're my first in this regards. Heather Hale was my second. Both of you bred before you had papers in hand but that's Ok because now you can register them. Where's your problem othert tahn breeding very young dogs.
What about the threatening call your husband made to my wife? Anybody out there would be very angry if I made one of those to them. It was very juvenile and seriously wrong.....
Talking in the third person? Who are you??
You're the rumor machine I'm sure.....
The owner to the dam left the country.........
We had to wait until they returned or forge his name.
That would cause one to lose AKC priviledges for ten years and a $1,000 fine.
What we did got us a $50 penalty/fee for handling late app's.
The buyers both bred their boy at around a year old and the female just over a year. The female even needed cherry eye surgery but the breeding took precidence over the well being of the bitch.
They have their papers now but are still suing me for some sort of damages. Their litters are now registerable.
depends
It was AKC that had a problem. In your case, I once had to wait six months for an official English pedigree to be forwarded from the UKC to AKC in the USA. I also was accused from this event with importing dogs that wree unregisterable.
What we really did was bring in frozen semen on an English dog living in Holland.
Just talk to your seller/breeder.
